We are sad to say that at
this time Tundra Spirits is
unable to accept any
surrenders.   All foster
homes and facilities are full.
We are still able to assist
with referrals, but all
inquiries are being handled
on a case - by - case basis.

in great shape physically. Tundra is posting this
Sibe for another Rescue and will work with the
adopters with training and breed guidance.
Please consider giving this guy the home he

Adopted!!
Name:   Frey
Gender: Male
Age:       10 years old
Name:     Lily
Gender: Female
Age:       1 year old
Adopted
Frey is a friendly, gentle, well mannered older
male husky. He was abandoned by his owner
with older family members who no longer can
care for him. They are looking for a Sibe-savvy
person to give this husky the home he finally
deserves. Frey is healthy and very active. He
enjoys walks and outdoor activities. Since he
was never truly properly trained by his owner
he will need an experienced capable person
familiar with the breed. He is looking for a bond
with a human willing to give him the attention
he needs. He responds well to positive
handling and requires a human who is aware of
the needs of a dog sensitive to handling. For
that reason, he is not recommended for a home
with young children. The family has advised
Tundra that they will have Frey euthanized if a
safe home is not found in a few weeks. We
believe that Frey is worth saving and do not
have the room at this time in the Rescue. If you
think you are the person for him we will work
with you to advance his training and
socialization.

*Blue was surrendered to a shelter by the
family of his owner who passed away
suddenly.  Blue was the constant
companion of his owner.  He has not had a
great deal of exposure to many
environments and is, therefore, hesitant
and shy in new situations.

Two weeks after having his life turned
upside down he is slowly coming out of his
shell with patient and understanding
humans.  Blue is gentle and will take treats
from strangers after a few moments. He has
the potential to be a wonderful companion
to anyone willing to take the time to assist
him in his transition to a strange new world.
He is calm, but avoids close contact
initially; and can be handled as his
confidence builds with the handler.

To be considered for adoption you must
have previous Siberian experience and
demonstrable skill in helping  him with his
ongoing socialization.  Tundra Spirits will
be available to assist with any training
issues.

*Lily was surrendered with her canine buddy
Mookie.  She is aloof until relaxed with new
people.  Lily is loving, gentle and eager to
please when properly guided.  She will do best
with Sibe-experienced humans who
understand how to build her confidence and
train using positive methods.

If you have the love, patience and dedication
to polish this diamond in the rough, she will
reward you with a lifetime of devoted canine
devotion.  She has made great progress once
being with people who enjoy her company.
Frosty
Frosty is a very friendly and cheerful young husky.  She thrives
on the company of people. She plays well with other dogs. She
is eager to please, inquisitive and learns new commands
quickly. She is treat oriented, which will expedite obedience
training. Her energy can be channeled using toys and
commands. She actually enjoys playing fetch with her tennis
ball. Frosty will make an outstanding candidate for obedience
excellence and eventual CGC. She will steal the heart of her
new human and easily become that lifelong companion.  She
was surrendered by her previous human because he no longer
had time for her.
