Gabriel was placed in a local shelter until
disposition of his owner's drug case. The
"owner" refused to relinquish Gabriel for
adoption. Gabriel languished in the shelter
for over a year. A kind volunteer fell in love
with him and visited daily. She worked with
him on his behavior and was rewarded with
a loving bond.
Unfortunately Gabriel still had trouble
relating to many strangers because of his
history of abuse. When the owner finally
agreed to give him up, the many hours in
the shelter had taken their toll on Gabriel.
Although finally adopted to a home, he just
could not bond with anyone except his
original good Samaritan. Gabriel met his
fate because society let him down.

loss of hearing. He has an excellent disposition
and would make a great companion for
someone looking for a laid-back Sibe. Max was
surrendered to the shelter when his owner
became ill, and has been at the shelter for
months. It's time for Max to have a home and
